Description:

Ruby in color with garnet highlights, the aroma is dominated by herbaceous notes of vanilla, cherry, and dried roses. On the palate, it offers intense persistence, full body, and even greater harmony between the delightful tannic texture, dense yet softened by long aging, and the impeccable acidity. It finishes with a warm and elegant savory finish, balsamic with hints of eucalyptus and undergrowth.

Produced exclusively in vintages deemed optimal, therefore only 40 times since 1888, from Sangiovese Grosso vineyards at least 25 years old, harvested by hand, and then aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 3 years before a long refinement in bottle in the Tenuta Geppo cellar, aptly nicknamed "La Storica": with these premises, the Brunello Biondi Santi can only confirm itself as a classic of great class, surprising longevity and well-deserved fame.
