Description:

A light ruby ​​red with garnet highlights, it offers an elegant bouquet of red berries, undergrowth, and delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it displays finesse and balance, with silky tannins and a characteristic freshness. The finish is persistent with hints of red berries. Excellent with game birds, porcini mushrooms, and medium-aged cheeses. It pairs perfectly with traditional Austrian dishes such as Tafelspitz.

The Gruber Röschitz winery, run by the Gruber family, is located in the Weinviertel region, characterized by loess and granite soils. The southeastern exposure at 300 meters above sea level in the Galgenberg vineyard favors ideal temperature ranges for Pinot Noir. Vinification involves spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging for 12 months in medium-toasted Austrian oak barrels.
