Description:
Straw yellow in color with golden highlights, it presents an intriguing and fragrant nose with aromatic and fragrant notes of Moscato intertwined with salty nuances of Malvasia, creating a complex and territorial bouquet. On the palate, it reveals a perfect balance between the softness of white fruit and a crisp acidity that lends freshness and vivacity, with a clean finish with aromatic and mineral overtones. The blend of traditional Vulture grapes expresses the uniqueness of Lucanian volcanic terroir. Excellent paired with aperitifs, fresh and aged cheeses, raw fish, pizza, delicate pasta dishes, and cured meats from Basilicata. Perfect with local specialties such as peperoni cruschi, caciocavallo podolico, pickled vegetable appetizers, and traditional Lucanian country dishes.
Ianghé is a blend of traditional Vulture grapes: Malvasia del Vulture and Moscato di Rapolla, sourced from approximately 25-year-old vines planted in the volcanic area's characteristic siliceous soil. Arteteke vinifies the two varieties separately to preserve their specific varietal characteristics, allowing spontaneous fermentations in cement vats that respect the terroir's authenticity. The final blend creates a wine that expresses the complexity of Lucanian volcanic terroir, where the soil's minerality blends with the aromatics of Moscato and the structure of Malvasia. The company's philosophy of non-technological intervention allows the native grapes to freely express the age-old character of Vulture viticulture.
