Description:
It presents a bright coral pink color in the glass. It has an intense aroma of fresh red fruits, Mediterranean herbs, and saline notes. On the palate, it is dry, with good savory and acidity, supported by a well-defined flavor profile and a pronounced minerality. The finish is lingering, with hints of red fruits and Mediterranean scrub. Perfect with Corsican dishes such as roast goat meat, grilled fish, and local charcuterie, as well as other island specialties such as fresh cheese fritters and aziminu (Corsican fish soup). It also pairs well with goat cheeses, seafood salads, and tomato-based dishes.
Produced by the Giacometti family in the Agriate region of northern Corsica, a wild area characterized by Mediterranean scrub and granite soils. The vineyards, cultivated organically, are located a short distance from the sea, which significantly influences the character of the wine. Vinification involves direct pressing, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and aging in concrete vats, without filtration. A territorial wine that expresses the typicality of the native Corsican grape varieties and the influence of the granite and maritime terroir.
