Description:

It features a beautiful straw yellow color with golden highlights and a delicate, persistent perlage. The nose opens with aromas of yellow fruit, citron, lemon zest, bread crust, toasted wood, and yeast. Round and complex on the palate, it reveals crisp acidity, medium body, and a pleasant freshness upon first sip. The mineral note on the finish is interesting.

The maison's only true blend, an expression of a single vintage with an identity recognizable by the Cuvée number, this champagne could be described as "multi-vintage": the "7" series not only uses the reserve wines of each vintage, but also blends previous cuvées, with an effort to create the best possible wine for each vintage rather than respecting and confirming the house's style. This is made clear right from the label, which faithfully reports the percentages of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier used, as well as the specific ratio between vintage wine and reserve wine.
