Description:

It features an elegant straw yellow color with delicate greenish highlights, enlivened by a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals a fresh and clean bouquet of great finesse, characterized by intense notes of Williams pear and citrus that blend harmoniously with delicate floral nuances of white flowers, creating an aromatic ensemble of great elegance. On the palate, it is crisp and fresh, supported by a delicate texture and a lovely creaminess that envelops the sip, culminating in a savory finish of pleasant persistence that enhances the minerality of the Burgundian terroir. The perfect balance of vivacity and finesse makes it ideal as a sophisticated aperitif, magnificent with raw fish, oysters, and fresh goat cheeses.

Jean-François Coquard represents the 13th generation of winemakers, having grown up among the family vineyards in the Pierres Dorées area of Beaujolais. After earning a degree in Biology and a Master's in Oenology from the University of Dijon in Burgundy, his career took him straight to Italy, to the Oltrepò Pavese at Tenuta Mazzolino, where for 15 years he managed the entire winemaking process, creating wines of great finesse that extolled the Lombardy terroir through his Burgundian sensibility. In 2014, he realized his dream of owning his own winery, returning to Chessy in southern Beaujolais to found JFC Vins, where from the first harvest his wines stood out for their elegance, positioning him among the rising stars of the appellation. The Crémant reflects this philosophy of elegance and respect for the terroir, made from Chardonnay grapes selected using the traditional method.
