FRANCE Pierre Leboeuf - Brut Grand Cru Aÿ 1,5L

Straw yellow with golden highlights, the nose envelops the spicy touch of ripe red and black berries from the Pinot Noir and the citrusy, white-flowered aromas of the Chardonnay. On the palate, it suggests good maturity with delicate aromas reminiscent of pears, wood, brioche, and caramel. The crisp acidity and firm structure lead to a lingering, warm finish, exquisitely spiced (pepper and anise, the signature of the Aÿ vineyard). Delicious with seafood, poultry, cheeses, and fatty fish.

The cuvée of Aÿ (among other things a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Carefully selected and fermented in enamelled steel vats for 11 months and then aged for at least 2 years in the cellar, they are not filtered to amplify their aromatic power.
