Description:

Visually, it displays a pale straw yellow with greenish highlights, revealing floral aromas of elderberry, lavender, and orange blossom on the nose. On the palate, it is dry, medium-bodied, with a pleasant, nuanced flavor and a long finish. It is excellent as an aperitif or with fish-based first courses, soups, and hard cheeses.

With over 500 years of history (since April 1499), the Villanova estate is the oldest in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Located on the border between the two DOC zones of Friuli's excellence, Isonzo and Collio, just a few kilometers from Slovenia, between Alpine winds and Adriatic breezes, it is characterized above all by its well-established attention to the "sculpting of the vineyard," as well as biodiversity and environmental protection, while also promoting research and innovation in winemaking.
