Description:

Pale straw yellow in color with soft golden highlights, the nose releases aromas of white fruits such as apple and pear, along with almond notes and a lively minerality typical of the area. On the palate, the freshness balances with delicate acidity. Overall, a medium-bodied wine with a long, clean finish, excellent with seafood appetizers, white fish and seafood first and second courses, as well as spring vegetables and risottos. Vinified and aged in stainless steel for at least four months with bâtonnage on the lees.

With over 500 years of history (since April 1499), the Villanova estate is the oldest in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Located on the border between the two DOC zones of Friuli's excellence, Isonzo and Collio, just a few kilometers from Slovenia, between Alpine winds and Adriatic breezes, it is characterized above all by its well-established attention to the "sculpting of the vineyard," as well as biodiversity and environmental protection, while also promoting research and innovation in winemaking.
