Produced exclusively from Barbera d'Asti pomace, Roccanivo represents the most powerful and structured interpretation of Berta grappas. Its name derives from the rocky soil of the Barbera vineyards located in the Asti hills. Distillation takes place in ancient copper stills, a particularly slow process that can last up to six hours per batch. A distinctive feature is the use of a cooling system that uses natural spring water flowing beneath the distillery, contributing to the spirit's aromatic finesse. Aged for at least five years in 225-liter Slavonian oak barrels, selected for their ability to impart spicy notes particularly suited to the structure of Barbera.
