Description:

It has a pale gold color with a delicate and persistent perlage. On the nose, a complex, fruity, toasted exuberance emerges, ranging from baked apple to peaches, almonds, and honey, with a fragrant finish of bread crust and butter. As well as, to quote the label itself, an extremely pleasant "invigorating, citrusy finish." On the palate, the excellent structure, mineral balance, and enjoyable, long-lasting flavor are immediately apparent, making it perfect with rich dishes such as oysters, baked fish, and white meat.

Among England's most renowned winemakers, and the first to cultivate Champagne grape varieties and produce single-varietal sparkling wines, Nyetimber uses only grapes from its own vineyards, all south-facing on soils composed of green sand and chalk. Harvesting is done entirely by hand, and each parcel is also processed separately to ensure optimal ripeness.
