Description:

Bright ruby ​​red with garnet highlights that indicate its evolution. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet of red berries, particularly blackberry and raspberry, followed by floral notes of violet and wild rose. With oxygenation, spicy nuances of black pepper and a characteristic mineral undertone emerge. On the palate, it is elegant and structured, supported by the fine, silky tannins typical of Valtellina Nebbiolo, with a long and persistent finish that evokes mineral and balsamic notes.

The Faccinelli winery, a small artisanal winery in Valtellina, cultivates its vineyards on the typical terraces of the Grumello subzone, perfectly exposed to the south on granite soils at 400-600 meters above sea level. The wine is made using traditional methods, with maceration on the skins for approximately 15 days and aging for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by an additional 6 months in the bottle. The limited production guarantees obsessive attention to detail.
