Valgella is the northernmost of the five subzones of Valtellina Superiore DOCG, characterized by sandier soils that lend the wine greater elegance and delicacy than other areas. The Sandro Fay winery, with its heroically cultivated terraced vineyards on the slopes of Valtellina, interprets this terroir with great respect for tradition, while adopting a modern approach that aims to enhance the finesse of mountain Nebbiolo.
