Description:

It displays a pale ruby ​​red color with subtle purple hues. The bouquet is an explosion of fresh red fruits, especially cherry and wild strawberry, enhanced by notes of Mediterranean scrub, black pepper, and leather, and pleasant balsamic hints of myrtle and rosemary that emerge more slowly. On the palate, it has a lively freshness and smooth tannins that give the wine a supple yet well-defined structure. The finish is persistent and savory, with a return of red fruits, a light spice, and an elegant mineral note. Excellent served with wild boar-based pasta dishes, red meats, cured meats, semi-mature pecorino cheese, and legume soups.

The Dù Galli winery, founded by two friends with a shared passion for wine, is a young company in the Morellino di Scansano scene. Its apparently successful project, starting in 2012, is to offer an easy-drinking and easy-to-pair wine, blended annually with products from each of the partners' wineries, Poggio Argentiera and Poggio Trevvalle, according to organic and biodynamic criteria.
