Description:

Hecate is a fascinating and unconventional wine, like the deity it draws inspiration from. An orange wine made from Cortese grapes macerated on the skins for a long time, it presents a deep orange color and a complex nose: ripe yellow fruit, smoky notes from the oak, no floral notes, but rather mineral, savory, almost brackish nuances. On the palate, it is lively, with a medium structure, light but well-defined tannins, and a vibrant acidity that makes it a white wine with great personality.
Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with vegetarian dishes, omelettes, white meats, poultry and medium-aged or soft cheeses.

The Saturno winery was born as a natural evolution of the historic Saccoletto Vini, based in San Giorgio Monferrato. The production approach is radically organic: no sulfites or additives, no chemical corrections, spontaneous fermentations, and absolute attention to the integrity of the fruit. Saturno's philosophy is spiritual and evocative, rooted in mythological symbolism and the purest viticulture, where wine is seen as an authentic and transformative expression of nature.
