Description:

It displays a brilliant ruby red with garnet highlights, while the nose reveals an elegant and refined bouquet of berries, wild strawberries, and small red fruits, enriched with delicate balsamic notes and mineral nuances that reflect the Monferrato terroir. On the palate, it is characterized by a delightful drinkability, playing on a perfect balance between freshness, minerality, and silky tannins, with a tension that keeps the wine lively and drinkable despite its structural complexity. Ideal with appetizers of mixed cured meats, medium-aged cheeses, and game with red fruits.

"I chose the name Nino because today this wine seems like a child to me: delicate, fun, richly fruity, clean, and youthful," is how the producer introduces it. And this young Pinot Noir, organically grown in Montaldo di Cerrina, demonstrates how an international grape variety can become deeply rooted in the Monferrato terroir, acquiring unique and unrepeatable characteristics. The winemaking process respects nature's rhythms: spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel with native yeasts, controlled maceration for 10-12 days, and malolactic fermentation that occurs naturally in wood. This is followed by a lengthy 16-month aging in large 1,000-liter barrels that preserve the purity of the fruit, completed by 6 months of bottle aging. The complete absence of fining and filtration preserves the wine's authenticity and complexity.
