Description:

A beautiful, intense garnet red with ruby ​​highlights, the nose unfolds with fruity, jammy aromas and intense notes of violet and sweet spices. On the palate, it is enveloping, persistent, and well-structured, with firm tannins that lend it nobility and a predisposition for long cellaring. Excellent with game, venison, braised meats, and red meats, as well as agnolotti with ragù, cured meats, and aged cheeses.

The historic Moccagatta winery, located in the heart of Barbaresco, owned by the Minuto family since the mid-19th century, boasts vineyards that extend across the Langhe south of the Tanaro River at latitudes between 200 and 300 meters above sea level, lower than the estate's other Barbarescos. The soils are both clayey and rich in limestone, as well as sandier, whose composition guarantees the varietal complexity of this wine. After initial fermentation in stainless steel, it is aged in barrique for 12 months.
