Description:

A brilliant, pale ruby red with purple highlights, it presents an intense and seductive bouquet on the nose, with a triumph of floral aromas of rose and geranium that blend harmoniously with hints of fresh red fruits such as strawberry, raspberry, and cherry. On the palate, it is sweet and pleasant thanks to an excellent acidity that balances the sweetness. It is slightly effervescent with a fine, creamy perlage and is very drinkable. The finish is fresh and fruity. It pairs excellently with fruit salads, fruit tarts, natural strawberries, light desserts, and dry pastries.

The first documents regarding the Forno family, originally from Santo Stefano Belbo, date back to the mid-17th century, and even today, "Cascina Forno," also known as "Tenuta Il Falchetto," can be found on ancient maps. From a family of farmers dedicated to vines and wine for four generations, Pietro Forno began producing his first bottles of Moscato as early as 1940. In the late 1970s, Pietro passed the reins of the company to his sons Natalino and Luigi, who renovated the cellar and introduced cutting-edge equipment for grape processing and fermentation, thus improving and refining the techniques while always respecting tradition. Brachetto d'Acqui represents a true gem of Piedmontese viticulture, produced exclusively with Brachetto grapes grown in the picturesque hills of Acqui Terme, where the calcareous soil and particular climate conditions give the wine unique and distinctive characteristics. The vinification process involves soft pressing of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation carried out up to 6.0% alcohol by volume and secondary fermentation in an autoclave at a controlled temperature.
