Description:

Bright straw yellow in color with greenish highlights, it presents an intensely aromatic bouquet of acacia blossoms, peach, apricot, and sage, with delicate notes of citrus and honey. On the palate, it is sweet and fragrant, with a vibrant freshness and a fine effervescence that perfectly balance the sweetness. The finish is long and persistent with fruity notes. As the producer recommends, it pairs excellently with panettone, corn biscuits, and hazelnut cake, but also as an aperitif with bread, butter, and anchovies.

The Il Falchetto winery, located in the heart of the Moscato d'Asti production area, in the Langhe area of ​​Asti, produces this wine using traditional methods. The Moscato Bianco grapes are hand-picked at optimal ripeness and vinified by gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place in pressure tanks using the Charmat method and is stopped naturally when the alcohol level reaches approximately 5.5%, thus preserving the grapes' natural sugars and their characteristic light effervescence. "Ciombo" represents a classic interpretation of Moscato d'Asti, one of Italy's most celebrated aromatic sweet wines.
