Description:

Brick red in color with orange highlights, it captivates the nose with a blend of dried fruit, dates, and figs, combined with notes of honey, caramel, candied orange peel, and a hint of sweet spices. On the palate, it is rich and velvety, well-structured, with an extraordinary balance between sweetness and freshness. The finish is extremely long and persistent. Delicious with dried fruit or egg-based desserts, coffee, or vanilla. Alternatively, it can be served chilled as an aperitif.

Colheita is a single-vintage Tawny Port that must age for at least 10 years in oak barrels before being bottled. This Niepoort 2012 represents an excellent expression of the vintage, with aging bringing out its best characteristics. Niepoort, with its long tradition of Port winemaking, selects only the finest vintages for its Colheitas, creating wines that perfectly represent the house's style and the vintage's distinctive characteristics.
