Description:

With an intense ruby ​​red color, it offers an aromatic profile of fresh, ripe red fruits on the nose, with mineral notes typical of the Douro Valley and light spicy hints. On the palate, it displays good structure, with fine, elegant tannins and a well-balanced freshness. The finish is persistent with a return of fruity notes. Ideal with grilled red meats, game, and aged cheeses, it also pairs well with traditional Portuguese cuisine, especially meat dishes like "cozido à portuguesa."

Wine & Soul is a winery founded in 2001 by Jorge Serôdio Borges and Sandra Tavares da Silva, representatives of the new generation of Portuguese winemakers. The Manoella vineyard, located in the Vale de Mendiz, is one of the oldest in the region, with vines over 70 years old. The winemaking process follows the house's traditional process, with fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and subsequent aging for 12 months in second- or third-use French oak barrels to preserve the freshness and character of the fruit.
