A complex blend of rums aged up to 12 years, produced using three different distillation systems: an antique copper pot still from 1959, a Barbet distillation column, and a stainless steel column, a unique combination that yields spirits with complementary flavor profiles. The molasses comes from local sugarcane grown in the Tachira region. The aging takes place in former bourbon and Scotch whisky barrels, preserved in the unique microclimate of the distillery located at the foot of the Venezuelan Andes, where the altitude and temperature ranges favor optimal maturation. On the palate, it is smooth and enveloping, with notes of raisins, cinnamon, cloves, and candied orange peel, and a warm finish with lingering notes of dark chocolate and sweet spices.
