A traditional version of the liqueur made from myrtle leaves, a lesser-known but equally important variant in the Sardinian liqueur tradition. This "white" version of myrtle offers a completely different aromatic profile than the red one, highlighting the plant's fresher, balsamic notes. The leaves are hand-picked from wild plants exclusively in spring, when the essential oil content reaches its peak. The maceration period is shorter than that of the berries (about 30 days) to prevent the liqueur from developing excessively bitter or astringent notes. After filtration, the liqueur is sweetened with a sugar syrup made with local spring water. The result is a liqueur with a naturally crystalline color with light greenish reflections, characterized by intense balsamic and herbaceous notes. On the nose, it presents a fresh and aromatic bouquet, with hints of Mediterranean herbs and mentholated notes. On the palate, it stands out for its freshness and a balance between sweet and bitter notes, with a long, refreshing finish reminiscent of the Mediterranean scrub.
