Produced exclusively using hand-picked Myrtus communis berries from the most pristine areas of Sardinia, particularly the mountainous regions of Gennargentu and Ogliastra, when the fruit reaches perfect ripeness, traditionally between November and January (when they have the highest concentration of essential oils and aromatic compounds). The production process follows an ancient traditional Sardinian recipe: the berries are infused in pure alcohol, without the addition of artificial flavors or colorings, for a period of at least two months, during which not only the color but also all the aromatic compounds are naturally extracted. After filtering, the liqueur is sweetened with a sugar syrup made with local spring water. The result is a myrtle with an intense and brilliant ruby ​​red color, with an aroma that fully expresses the balsamic notes of the Mediterranean scrub, accompanied by hints of ripe berries and spices. On the palate, it is smooth and balanced, with a lingering finish that recalls the wild notes typical of Sardinian myrtle.
