Description:
Straw yellow in color, tending toward gold, it offers an intense bouquet of ripe yellow fruit that expresses the richness of the Sicilian terroir. On the palate, it is elegant and slightly mineral, fruity with a good acidity that lends freshness and balance. The right sugar and alcohol content, combined with good fixed acidity, helps enhance its aromas and maintain them over time. It pairs magnificently with fish appetizers, first courses based on swordfish and tuna, shellfish and molluscs, and fresh Sicilian cheeses such as ricotta and primo sale. Perfect with Hyblaean specialties such as buttered arancini, caponata, bluefish dishes, and pasta with sardines.
The Riofavara winery is located in one of the most beautiful wine-producing areas in the province of Ragusa, a region historically suited to viticulture. Marzaiolo is one of the winery's most important white wines, with a limited production of approximately 7,000 bottles annually. The winery's location has received numerous awards, encouraging producers to invest in the land to maximize its production potential, continually improve quality, and explore new markets. The blend of Inzolia and Chardonnay is vinified according to local traditions that enhance the varietal characteristics and the unique terroir of the Hyblaean Mountains.
