Description:
In the glass, it displays a straw yellow color with characteristic copper highlights, typical of Pinot Grigio. The nose is rich and complex, with notes of ripe pear, white melon, and peach, enhanced by nuances of acacia blossom, honey, and a delicate hint of almond. On the palate, it displays a substantial yet balanced structure, with a creamy texture balanced by a fresh acidity. The finish is long and persistent, characterized by ripe fruit notes and a pronounced minerality, typical of the marly soils of Brda.
This wine represents the most ambitious interpretation of Pinot Grigio according to Ferdinand's philosophy: the grapes come from the company's finest vineyards located in the Brda hills, where the "Opoka" soil and the unique microclimate between the sea and the mountains allow for optimal ripening of the grapes. Vinification and aging are designed to enhance the wine's complexity and structure, while maintaining the varietal's characteristic elegance.
