Description:

It features an intense ruby ​​red color with garnet hues. The nose opens with a broad and complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, tobacco, and underbrush, enriched with elegant balsamic notes. On the palate, it is powerful and harmonious, with silky, perfectly integrated tannins that support a full, structured body. The finish is long and persistent, with hints of ripe fruit and spice.

Le Macioche, a small estate of approximately 6 hectares located in the southwest area of ​​Montalcino at approximately 400 meters above sea level, stands out for its precision viticulture and respect for the terroir. The winemaking process follows traditional methods, with fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and lengthy maceration on the skins. The wine is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for at least 36 months, followed by a further period in the bottle. The 2009 vintage, characterized by a warm yet balanced climate, produced a Brunello of great structure and elegance, capable of long aging.
