Description:

It features a deep, robust ruby ​​red color. The nose is broad and complex, with aromas ranging from black berries to leather, vanilla, and dried flowers, with balsamic notes of mint and spice on the finish. On the palate, it unleashes an intensity enhanced by balanced tannins. It is soft and warm, vigorous, with nuances of aromatic herbs, anise, and ripe plums.

Since 1994, Messorio, whose name harks back to the harvest season, the most important time in country life, has succeeded in transforming Merlot's proverbial sweetness into a product of great impact and evident distinctiveness. After maceration in concrete, the wine is aged in new barriques for at least 16 months, without any filtration.
