Description:

Bright amber in color with golden highlights, it offers an intense and complex bouquet of dried apricot, candied orange peel, and acacia honey, with notes of toasted almond, caramel, and a delicate touch of vanilla. On the palate, it is sweet and rounded, with a fresh acidity that perfectly balances the sweetness, lending elegance and drinkability. The finish is long and persistent, with a return of notes of dried fruit and honey.

Produced by the historic Antinori family on their Chianti Classico estates, this Vin Santo is made using the traditional Tuscan method: the grapes are left to dry on racks or "mats" for several months, then pressed, and the resulting must is fermented and aged in traditional wooden barrels for at least three years. The 2018 vintage stands out for its perfect balance between concentration and freshness.
