Description:

Bright ruby ​​red in color, it presents a distinctive bouquet on the nose with primary notes of violet and cherry, accompanied by light hints of spice. On the palate, it is dry and harmonious, with a medium structure and well-integrated tannins. The finish is persistent with a pleasant fruity aftertaste. It pairs perfectly with traditional Tuscan dishes such as pappardelle with wild boar ragù, Florentine steak, and roast red meats, as well as Tuscan cured meats and medium-aged cheeses.

The Colli Aretini subzone represents one of the seven historic zones of Chianti, characterized by hilly, medium-textured soils with clay and marl. The vineyards, located between 200 and 400 meters above sea level, benefit from an ideal microclimate for the maturation of Sangiovese. After destemming and gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for approximately 15 days, followed by a minimum of 6 months of aging, partly in oak barrels as required by the production regulations.
