Description:

In the glass, a brilliant ruby ​​red with garnet hues, it presents an intense and complex aromatic profile, with notes of ripe red fruits, violets, sweet spices, and tobacco, enriched by elegant balsamic and undergrowth aromas. On the palate, it is rich and structured, with fine and elegant tannins that support a complex flavor profile. The finish is long and persistent, with an elegant return of ripe fruit and spices.

The Ridolfi winery, located in the northern part of Montalcino, boasts vineyards in one of the most suitable positions in the area, approximately 350 meters above sea level. The unique exposure and soils rich in galestro and alberese contribute to the complexity of the wine. Vinification follows traditional methods, with spontaneous fermentation in concrete vats and long macerations. Aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months, followed by a further period in the bottle. The 2018 vintage, characterized by balanced climate conditions, produced wines of great elegance and aging potential.
