Description:

Straw yellow in color with greenish highlights, it offers a floral bouquet of hawthorn and acacia, with notes of white fruit, apple, pear, and a delicate touch of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is fresh and light, with a pleasant savory finish and a good balance between smoothness and acidity. The finish is clean and persistent. Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs well with light appetizers such as farro salad with summer vegetables and torta al testo with wild herbs. Perfect with freshwater fish dishes such as trout baked in foil with wild fennel or carp in porchetta. Also excellent with fresh cheeses and ricotta.

Fiordaliso Bianco is made with Grechetto and Trebbiano Spoletino grapes, two native Umbrian varietals that Roccafiore enhances with vinification entirely in stainless steel at a controlled temperature and a brief aging on the lees to enhance aromatic complexity while maintaining freshness and drinkability. The 2023 vintage is characterized by excellent grape ripeness, giving the wine an excellent balance between aromas and structure.
