Description:
A pale straw yellow in color, it strikes the nose with a rich and refined bouquet characterized by aromas of honeycomb and wildflowers. Full-bodied, fresh, elegant, and dry, supported by mineral notes and ripe yellow peach, with a beautifully balanced savory flavor and a citrus undertone, it pairs perfectly with raw seafood, asparagus or herb risotto, and certainly with the typical Saor.
A highly prized wine, made from a grape variety created by the skilful cross between Riesling Renano and Pinot Bianco plants, crafted by Professor Luigi Manzoni (dean of the Conegliano School of Oenology, the first in Italy). Today, this grape is grown throughout most of Italy, and here, it is hand-picked when slightly overripe and then aged in stainless steel on fine lees for approximately eight months.
